We're currently accepting applications for internship positions for the Spring 2020 school semester. Students accepted into our internship program will work alongside a number of units at the Austin Police Department over a 12-week period, including our District Representatives, Crime Scene Unit, Communications team, and Homicide Unit, among others. Interns must commit to 10 hours per week and will be compensated $11.00 per hour in addition to three college credit hours. In order to receive college credit, interns must be enrolled in a college or university that aligns with a field placement/internship course and must complete the full 12-week program. The Spring 2020 internship program will take place from January 27 - April 17. Graduates of the internship program will be placed at the top of the list for our next Regular Academy.
